Sacramento's Capitol Mall extends from the Sacramento River to the State Capitol. This beautiful 10 block long parkway is the formal approach to the city as well as the Capitol. The vertical bronze aluminum extrusions accent the linear grace of the bronze glass-sheathed towers are two of the tallest structures on Capitol Mall. Facing Capitol Mall is a large plaza landscaped with trees, a half block long reflecting pool with splashing fountains and constantly moving waters.

This, combined with the soaring beauty of the towers makes a pleasing and most imposing landmark.
